TAJ\u00ca announced its participation in the global campaign \u201cWe want to see Abdullah \u00d6calan\u201d and vowed to intensify the struggle for his physical freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Free Yazidi (\u00cazid\u00ee) Women\u2019s Movement (TAJ\u00ca) announced in a statement that it has joined the global campaign \u201cWe want to see Abdullah \u00d6calan.\u201d During the statement delivered at the Leadership Garden, it was emphasized that Abdullah \u00d6calan\u2019s physical freedom is inseparable from the freedom of Yazidi women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAJ\u00ca spokesperson Riham Hico stated that the isolation imposed on \u00d6calan has not yet been broken and that the struggle will continue until he is freed. She said, \u201cWith this goal, TAJ\u00ca has launched the campaign \u2018Read and Spread the Works of Abdullah \u00d6calan,\u2019 aimed at disseminating his thoughts and ideas. As Yazidi women, our demand is the lifting of \u00d6calan\u2019s isolation and his full freedom. The physical freedom of \u00d6calan is the freedom of Yazidi women.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the statement, martyr mothers Xox\u00ea Cind\u00ee and Berf\u00ea Elyas also gave speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xox\u00ea Cind\u00ee emphasized that Yazidi women must first and foremost feel the presence of Abdullah \u00d6calan. She said, \u201cAs a community and as women who have survived massacres, we want to see \u00d6calan free. We must be able to meet with \u00d6calan and see his condition with our own eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berf\u00ea Elyas said, \u201cFirst of all, we send our greetings to \u00d6calan and wish for his freedom. \u00d6calan has done everything possible for peace and freedom. Our hope and desire is his freedom. If \u00d6calan is free, then we Yazidi women will be free as well. For years, we have educated ourselves and our children in the ideas of \u00d6calan and have protected our land. Our freedom is tied to the freedom of \u00d6calan, and we demand his release.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avesta Ezda, representing the Shengal Young Women\u2019s Union, stated, \u201cAs the Shengal Young Women\u2019s Union, we greet Abdullah \u00d6calan with love and respect. We recognize our place within the initiative launched by the TAJ\u00ca. It is our duty to read and spread \u00d6calan\u2019s ideas more widely. Only by expanding our organization in this way can we be worthy of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As young women, we must intensify our struggle for the freedom of Abdullah \u00d6calan.
