The delegation is expected to hold a series of meetings with various political and governmental parties in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hawarnews.com\/en\/uploads\/images\/202507\/image_870x_6863d3bb3ef5c.jpg?w=1170&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Delegation of &quot;I Want to Visit Abdullah Ocalan&quot; arrives in Turkey, submits visitation request\u00a0\" style=\"width:397px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;European Forum for Freedom and Peace&#8221; (EFFP), which includes academics, intellectuals, politicians, and journalists who fled to Europe due to pressure in Turkey, launched a global campaign titled &#8220;I Want to Visit Abdullah Ocalan&#8221; to demand the opening of dialogue channels with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the campaign, today a delegation of 39 figures from different countries arrived in Istanbul, including journalists, writers, academics, unionists, lawyers, and parliamentarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delegation aims to conduct multifaceted meetings to call for a democratic solution to the Kurdish issue and to demand the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, the delegation\u2019s first stop was a visit to the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, which handles the legal defense of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, where they submitted an official memorandum containing their request for a direct meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the delegation\u2019s reception, lawyer \u0130brahim Bilmez, a member of the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, expressed his gratitude to the delegation for this initiative and their support for resolving the Kurdish issue in Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On her part, Italian parliamentarian Francesca Serasani spoke on behalf of the delegation, saying: &#8220;We are here today to show our support for the people and their Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
