The spokesperson for the Jineology Academy in North and East Syria, Zahr Yban Hussein, stated that the letter sent by Leader Ocalan to them clarified their goals. Zahr Yban Hussein, the spokesperson for the Jineology Academy in North and East Syria, spoke to ANHA Agency about the letter sent by Leader Abdullah Ocalan to the Jineology Academy, the activities they undertake, and the level of women\u2019s participation in this science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hussein noted that upon receiving Leader Abdullah Ocalan\u2019s letter, they felt a sense of freedom, victory, and hope while reading it. The letter gave them immense strength, as it was not merely a letter but a set of guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery word from the Leader is a directive for us that must be studied and explored. In the letter, the Leader says, \u2018Since my relationship with my mother, I wanted to be the best companion to women,\u2019 and \u2018I called the statements and evaluations I previously sent in my letters to women \u201cSon of the Goddess,\u201d\u2019 among others. We will continue our work in connection with this, and we will fulfill our duties to the fullest until we achieve a women\u2019s confederation worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hussein mentioned that Jineology in North and East Syria is organized based on the Jineology Academy, research centers (also known as study centers), Jinwar village, and the Jineology department at Rojava University. In these areas, work and activities continue with a specific goal. Students graduate from the university and take on roles within the existing system, while environmental and therapeutic activities persist in Jinwar. One of Jineology\u2019s most important tasks is to transform the patriarchal mentality fostered and protected by monolithic thinking, as Jineology strives to uncover the truth of this mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hussein highlighted that Jineology garners significant interest among both women and men participating in its seminars, forums, and training courses. Women\u2019s institutions, such as women\u2019s houses, the Kongra Star, and the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ), form the foundation for establishing Jineology. Women warmly embrace returning to their roots through Jineology. She continued, \u201cIn the lessons, women often say, \u2018We felt like we were returning to ourselves.\u2019 The Leader frequently addresses issues of existence, identity, and knowledge as solutions for women in his defenses. There is acceptance and love for Jineology in society overall, but we do not consider this sufficient, so we will work to expand the scope of our efforts further.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hussein revealed that after receiving the letter, they first shared it with the members of their centers and will begin reading it everywhere. She concluded, \u201cWe have many tasks to undertake. Our goal became clearer after the letter. To deepen Jineology further and root it in various aspects of life, we will change our curricula and methods for developing Jineology. Since Jineology primarily critiques the fragmentation of knowledge, in the future, we will carry out related activities and events that require considering Jineology as an alternative to the life based on domination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
