{"id":13357,"date":"2025-05-20T09:18:31","date_gmt":"2025-05-20T09:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/freedomforabdullahocalan.org\/en\/?p=13357"},"modified":"2025-05-20T09:18:33","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T09:18:33","slug":"syrian-initiative-for-leader-abdullah-ocalans-freedom-opens-branch-in-kobane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/freedomocalansyria.com\/en\/?p=13357","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Syrian Initiative for Leader Abdullah \u00d6calan\u2019s Freedom&#8217; opens branch in Koban\u00ea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A branch of the &#8216;Syrian Initiative for Leader Abdullah \u00d6calan&#8217;s Freedom\u2019 has been opened in Koban\u00ea city to spread \u00d6calan&#8217;s ideas among society and to expand the struggle for his freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/anfenglishmobile.com\/uploads\/en\/articles\/2025\/05\/20250518-20250518-image-870x-6829baea847d0-jpg26bf25-image-jpgdfa793-image.jpg?w=1170&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:451px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A branch of the \u2018Syrian Initiative for Leader Abdullah \u00d6calan&#8217;s Freedom\u2019 has been opened in Koban\u00ea city in the Euphrates Canton of North-East Syri<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to many citizens, officials from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and representatives of women&#8217;s organizations attended the opening ceremony on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.iframe.ly\/Pyn2hpxY\">https:\/\/cdn.iframe.ly\/Pyn2hpxY<\/a><br>Speaking at the ceremony, Ay\u015fe Efend\u00ee, spokesperson for the Initiative in the Euphrates Canton, saluted the resistance against the international conspiracy directed against Kurdish leader Abdullah \u00d6calan, stating, &#8220;For 26 years, the people have been fighting for the physical freedom of Leader Apo [Abdullah \u00d6calan] in every corner of Kurdistan. Just as we defeated the ISIS mercenaries in Koban\u00ea, we will also achieve Leader Apo&#8217;s physical freedom.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferzende Munzur, spokesperson for the Initiative, pointed out the significance of the opening coinciding with May 18, Day of Martyrs, stating that the center&#8217;s aim is to spread \u00d6calan&#8217;s ideas among society and to expand the struggle for his freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the ceremony, Hel\u00eeme Re\u015fo, mother of the martyrs Bar\u00een, Botan, and Baran, cut the ribbon.
